Phi Hotel Canalgrande

By car

The Hotel is easily accessible via the A1 highways, exiting at Modena Nord and continuing towards Modena Centro (approximately 15 minutes). Alternatively, you can exit at Modena Sud and continue towards Modena Centro (approximately 20 minutes).

Phi Hotel Canalgrande is located within the ZTL (limited traffic zone), but it is possible to reach us by car by following these directions:

FROM VIA DON CELESTINO CAVEDONI (or VIALE MARTIRI DELLA LIBERTÀ) continue past the ZTL gate of Via Saragozza (the gate is equipped with cameras, but access is allowed as the license plate will be registered upon arrival).

FROM VIA SARAGOZZA turn right into Via Mascherella (as indicated by road signs) and then turn left onto Corso Canalgrande (upon arrival, a member of our staff will take a photo of the license plate, which will be authorized for access and exit from the ZTL).

Please note that the Hotel authorizes access/exit only within the ZTL, but access to VIA EMILIA CENTRO is not permitted, as it is a pedestrian-only area.

The property declines all responsibility for any violations in pedestrian zones or other restricted areas where access or parking is prohibited, as indicated by road signs. At check-in, guests are required to provide their license plate number so that it can be reported to the local authorities.

By train

Modena railway station is about 10 minutes from the Hotel and offers regional, intercity and high-speed connections to the main Italian cities. From the station, you can reach Phi Hotel Canalgrande by taxi, bus, or with a short walk through the historic city centre.

By plane

The nearest airport is Bologna Guglielmo Marconi (about 40 minutes), which is connected to Modena railway station by trains, buses and shuttle services. Once at the station, the Hotel can be reached by taxi, bus, or with a short walk.
